Ordering

Registration
If you would like to place orders online from Bibliagora.co.uk first you need to register (open an account). For this you will need a valid email address. When filling in your details, you must also select a username and password, which gives you access to your Bibliagora.co.uk account. By having a Bibliagora.co.uk account you can manage your orders, create wish lists, manage returns, buy gift vouchers and collect BiblioPoints. Please note: You need to register a new account with Bibliagora.co.uk even if you already have an account with Bibliagora.eu or any other Bibliagora website.

I don't remember my username, what do I do?
Registration functionality for the Bibliagora.co.uk website was introduced in September 2009. If the last time you used Bibilagora.co.uk was before September 2009, you haven't got a username and therefore it cannot be retrieved. So, please feel free to register at any time.
If you have successfully registered with Bibliagora.co.uk (from September 2009 onwards) and you can't remember your username, please fill in a "Contact us" form. The more details your provide us with the faster we'll identify your account successfully.

I don't remember my password, what do I do?
If you have successfully registered with Bibliagora.co.uk (from September 2009 onwards) and you can't remember your password, please follow the password recovery process. You'll need your email address for this.

I don't want to place an order over the Internet, what do I do?
You can order by email or telephone. Simply email the details of your order or call us on +44 (0)161 4 083 083. Please note that these orders are not subjected to our on line special offers, payment methods or terms and conditions. If you want further information please ask when you place your order.

Searching

Searching All words (simple search)
To search any word from any item please use the simple search by adding any word(s) in the search field.

Advanced Search
For a more detailed search function please use "Advanced Search", where you can define searches by Product Title, Description, Item Number, Author, ISBN-10, ISBN-13 and Supplier. If you'd like to browse through all the titles of a specific publisher/supplier please click here.

Searching by Product Title
When searching by Title and the book you are looking for is in Greek with a Greek Title, please use Greek characters. For example to find the book 'Οι μάγισσες της Σμύρνης', use any word of the title, or a combination of words in the original language, ie in Greek. Do not use the translation ('the witches of Smyrna') or the Greeklish version ('Oi magisses tis Smyrnis').
Similarly when searching for a book with an English title please use English characters.

Searching by Author
There are a lot of books written by non Greek authors that are available in Greek. So when searching by Author (Συγγραφέας) and the author in question has not got a Greek name, please use English (Latin) characters, as you'd normally do. The system will be able to find 'Steven Pressfield' but not 'Στήβεν Πρέσφιλντ'.
Greek names, similarly have to be searched using Greek characters, for example 'Μάρα Μεϊμαρίδη' and not 'Mara Meimaridi'.

Searching by ISBN
Most of the Greek books have been assigned with an ISBN (unique number that identifies books) which is usually displayed at the back of the book. Very old books might not have an ISBN. These numbers come with hyphens (-). To ensure better results when searching, please omit those.
Books published in Greece have ISBN numbers which start with the digits 978960 followed by seven more digits.
Old assigned ISBN numbers come in 10 digits, which start with 960 followed by seven more digits.
Remember: do not include any hyphens (-) between the ISBN numbers when searching.

If you recently placed an order and you're wondering why you haven't received it yet, you should first check whether we've dispatched it to you. In order to do this you need to  login to you account. All successful orders are automatically notified to you by email.

Wish List

What is a Wish List?
A Wish List is a personalised list of all the things you or your organisation would love to own from the Bibliagora.co.uk website. You can send your Wish List to friends, family and benefactors and use it to purchase the perfect present.

How to Create a Wish List
To create a Wish List, ensure you're signed in and go to the product information page for the first item you'd like to add. Click the "Add to Wish List" button. Every item you add in the list will be stored and displayed in "My Wish List". When you are ready to buy and item from your Wish List, just click on the "Add to Cart" button. Alternatively you can send your entire Wish List to anyone you want by email. This can be done by adding the recipients email address in the field provided.

How to Remove Items from your Wish List
To remove items from your Wish List, simply login to your account, click on "My Wish List" and remove any items you no longer wish to buy by clicking the "Remove Item" button.
